Position Overview:

Serves on trayline, washes dishes and pots, and performs general cleaning duties. Delivers specified clean dishes and utensils to proper kitchen units, and cleans work areas.

EDUCATION

• Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
• HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. or equivalent education/experience

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

• Or one to three months related experience or training;

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Demonstrates ability to operate and use various cleaning and food service supplies and equipment, such as dishwashing machine.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one to supervisor, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add , subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay Range: $27.15 - $30.38 / hourly

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
